Andrea bases her practice on the investigation of the material. Since she was a child she has spent all her life painting and drawing. In Spain, she did four years of academic art at university, working in portraits, nudes and death-makes. Now, in Manchester, this emerging artist has turned around her work, trying to express herself with more common objects not often used in art. She thinks now that anything could be possible, and she demonstrates it achieving beautiful pieces from something that normally is not.
